How to play
Monitor the matches
Compare the three target lights with the live lights. Press A or Match when all three colours match in order. Compare the target silhouette with the moving scan, then press S or Match if it is the same type.
Find the code
Select the exact target code in the scrolling list. Watch for similar letters and numbers. You can scroll the list yourself.
Search the scene
Select every symbol matching the scene instruction, plus every unknown target. At higher levels, check direction and the priority star. When all targets are found, the scene refreshes automatically with a success chime.
Scoring
At Beginner, light matches earn 100 points, scan matches 150, code matches 100 and correct scene targets 75. Intermediate applies a 1.5× multiplier to correct matches and Advanced applies 2×. Each award is rounded to the nearest whole point. Incorrect selections and missed light, scan or scene targets deduct 25. A wrong light or scan response can only be submitted once per display. The round runs for three minutes, including time spent in another tab.
Tips
- Return to lights and scan regularly while searching the scene.
- Read the whole code before selecting a row.
- The symbol identifies the unit type; F, N and ? identify affiliation. A star marks priority.
- Unknown targets always count, whatever the scene instruction.
Unlocking levels
Beginner is available from the start.
- Intermediate: score 1,800 in a completed Beginner round.
- Advanced: score 3,000 in a completed Intermediate round.
